The Second International Postgraduate Conference
Psychology and behavioural sciences: bringing theory into practice
Ciążeń, Poland, 18th – 19th May, 2012
The time of paper presentation is shortened to 15 minutes due to large number of participants.
The conference is designed to:
- present and propose practical implications of theory and research results
- bring together PhD candidates in psychology and young researchers on psychology and behavioural sciences from all across Europe.
All doctorate candidates and junior researchers involved with broadly defined behavioural sciences from all European countries are welcome. An additional students’ session may be held if there is enough interest.
The languages of the conference are English and Polish.
The scientific supervisor of the event is Prof. Elżbieta Hornowska (Institute of Psychology, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan). Selected papers will be published as chapters in peer-reviewed ISBN book by the Publishing House of the Adam Mickiewicz University.
The conference is intended to give forum for presenting scientific work and to bring together early career researchers to share their knowledge and experiences, and to exchange their perspectives. The emphasis will be on dialogue and drawing together PhD students and junior scientists to establish relations that may become a base for future cooperation on research projects or publications. We are counting on your initiative and active participation in the conference.
After each session there will be time for plenary discussion on the presented papers. The deadline for abstract submission is 8th March 2012.
The paper proposals will be reviewed by the scientific committee and the participants will be notified of reviewers’ acceptance or rejection by 14th April 2012.
