ABSTRACT. The paper presents the variability of geometric and hydraulic parameters of channel cross-sections down the long profile of a supraglacial stream on the Ragnarbreen. The dependence of hydraulic geometry on the changing discharge is defined. A model of a 3-stage development of newly forming supraglacial channels is proposed.
