Newton's Laws of Motion - Physics Problems
The number of problems presented here will be growing continuously as new problems will be added every few days. The level of difficulty of problems is very broad, from the upper class of elementary school through high school to college and up to university level.
Every problem is presented with its solution. Some solutions are presented with all possible explanations and details of algebraic manipulation, others are only briefly sketched forcing the Reader to put in some effort on their part.
The rule is – the more difficult the problem, the more complex the explanation and presentation.
Problem 1 - Unit of force conversion
Problem 2 - Force and acceleration 1
Problem 3 - Force and acceleration 2
Problem 4 - Force in effect when car brakes
Problem 5 - Elevator cable tension
Problem 6 - Force between moving blocks
Problem 7 - Find the mass of an airplane from its acceleration
Problem 8 - Finding the mass of an object in an accelerating elevator
Problem 9 - A man lowers himself with the help of a pulley
Problem 10 - block on an incline with pulley
