First Logic and Cognition conference will be held at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, adiposity Poland, on May 17-19, 2012.
In particular we invite submissions on:
- applications of logic to the analysis of actual human reasoning
- tools and methods suited for such applications
- neural basis of logical reasoning
- educational issues of cognitively-oriented logic

Submitted papers will be peer-reviewed and selected on the basis of quality and relevance to the conference topics. We prefer 6, 8 or 10 page submissions. Submissions should not exceed 10 pages. It is expected that each accepted paper will be presented at the conference by one of its authors (presentation time: 20 minutes talk + 10 minutes questions). Multiple submissions by the same author or group of authors are allowed, but each person may only give one oral presentation at the conference.
Papers must be submitted electronically (both .pdf file and .tex source), at the Logic and Cognition website (cf. Registration and fees). Submissions must be formatted in the landc LaTeX style (all files are available here (zip archive)). The proceedings will be published prior to the conference. In order to ensure publication in the conference materials, at least one author of each paper must have registered to attend the conference by April 15, 2012, the deadline of submission of the camera-ready paper.
A submission for a poster presentation should consist of a 2-page abstract. Submitted papers may also be considered for presentation as posters. Posters should be in A1 size in ?portrait? orientation (594 mm wide × 841 mm tall or 23.39 in wide × 33.11 in tall).
